Bhagwati Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) established in the year 2008 is spread over a sprawling 102 Acre Campus in an eco-friendly environment and amid the sparkling beauty of nature. Environment plays a very crucial role in enhancing the learning experience. This is the reason why the campus is built away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The world-class campus provides the best amenities to students for their stay during the course.
The Campus is a self-sufficient unit catering to all sorts of needs of staff & students. It is aesthetically designed with elegant buildings complimented by wide open spaces, broad roads & abundant greenery with a view to create a pleasing and inspiring ambiance for the students. The heart of the campus is the Academic Centre, which houses fully air-conditioned lecture theatres, classrooms, faculty offices and conference room.
The fully air conditioned lecture theatres are equipped with a broadband communications network, ensuring global connectivity. Students can interact by computer or video-link with faculty, industrial leaders and students anywhere in the world. Audiovisual and videoconferencing facilities such as overhead projectors, LCDs, fixed cameras and touch-pad systems make the learning process interactive and enjoyable.
We have well-developed libraries with 2056 books including 1000 titles. It subscribes to more than 25 journals/ magazine (Indian & foreign) and 5 newspapers. The libraries also have multiple copies of much sought after books and current and earlier issues of important journals/magazine. Recently it has started Book Bank and E-Journal services.
College also provides Book bank facility through which each student gets requisite books for all subjects according to academic requirements in each semester. This facility is additional to entitlement of books issued on library card.
Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC):
OPAC helps the user to retrieve the reading material by the author, title, subject, classified number & publisher. The OPAC also provides information about the status of the books available in the Library.
Encyclopedia Britannica is installed in separate user terminal for student’s reference.
DELNET has been established with the prime objective of promoting resource sharing among libraries through the development of a network of Libraries. DELNET at present has 1009 Libraries as College members of which 167 Libraries are in Delhi, 828 outside Delhi in 30 States and Union territories and 14 in overseas countries.

It is a general observation that students at the entry level of undergraduate programs and especially belonging to the rural India are shy in using computers and often feel hesitant in College operation. On the contrary, the technical skills of an engineer clearly put forth the need to have a sound knowledge of application of computer and different software to solve problems of vivid nature. To provide practical exposure and on-hand working environment to such students, the college has over 350 computer workstations made available in several air conditioned laboratories of the college building. They are fully networked with branded (IBM & HP) Dual Core systems and servers. High internet speed of 15 Mbps, broadband internet connectivity has been provided in main computer center with at least one faculty and technical staff to guide them.

Workshop forms an integral part of the department of mechanical engineering as it is heavily involved in carrying out the manufacturing activities with the help of some sophisticated equipments for the research activities in the department as well as for the undergraduate training on workshop courses for the students throughout the institute in every semester. With the assistance of quality supporting staff, undergraduate and postgraduate students are able to carry out the fabrication work for their BTech projects.
Separate hostels for boys and girls exist inside the campus. Hostel rooms are provided on twin/three sharing basis with all modern facilities. The hostels also have separate mess with latest Kitchen equipment and spacious dining halls to provide healthy and hygienic meals. A spacious room well ventilated designed for comfort and equipped with bed, study table and cupboards provided for the students. Each floor has facilities for toilets, bathroom, common room, recreation activities i.e. TV, indoor games and newspapers. The hostels have round the clock security and students are expected to abide by the hostel rules.
College hostels are a perfect place to live away from home. Students have the luxury of being located in Ghaziabad, one of the finer Satellite Towns of Delhi-NCR, outside the bustle of the city, yet not far from the attractions of the city during weekends. The hostel at BITS are designed to hold up to three students per room and have their own attached verandah and washrooms surrounded by the greenest of green environment in the lush campus facility. Built on lines similar to service apartments, these dwellings are an ideal home-away-from-home for students. Overlooking the green pastures, hostels can accommodate up-to 150 boys and around 50 girls. It offers double or triple occupancy rooms depending on availability, student seniority and merit. BITS provides affordable residential accommodation integrated within the campus to cultivate an environment conducive to research and promote dialogue among students, their peers, and faculty members.

The cafeteria, inside the campus, provides an ideal place for students to sit together, exchange thoughts and notes over cups of coffee and wholesome snacks served throughout the day. It is beautifully designed with proper seating arrangement and is a place for relaxation and discussion, for security purposes CCTV cameras are also installed in the canteen. The lighting and the ambience within the cafeteria are modeled on best contemporary designs for cafeterias with comfortable seating arrangements and self-service concepts. College has developed a complete air conditioned cafeteria with modern facilities by hiring it to renowned caterers to provide the delicious and hygienic food with minimum service time to the students, faculty and staff etc.
